Artist: Tim Ruth
A prolific creator who has worked under multiple pseudonyms over the years. Tim Ruth’s latest project “Hope-Free” has been under development for over 12 years and explores themes of identity, language, law and social evolution. The series of paintings currently being sold is the concrescence of multiple strands of Tim’s work, fusing his love for symbology, poetry and aesthetic beauty.
Keen to remain discreet, insistent that the work must speak for itself, Tim is keen to work behind the scenes without getting caught up in the maelstrom of public opinion. Tim is an artist of great sensitivity who fears being distracted by attention and wishes for his work to emanate from the deepest part of himself. By the avoidance of developing a public profile, art buyers can also fully appreciate the work on its own merits.
The current series “Hope-Free” employs The Flag of All Flags, a design that integrates all the flags of the world into an evolution of the Union Jack concept.
